James,

Agave is consistently crashing after upgrade. The app will open ok, going to menu, programs crashes app and it closes right away. There is an option to send report, but it looks like it is to Google, not you.

Dennis

Update - Agave is also crashing when selecting Things from the menu.

also, I am not seeing the crash reports..

Crash reports go to the Android Developer console, where the developer can analyse them. You should definitely send them when there is a crash.

Yes, do send them.

I guess I my wife "borrowed"(S4)  a phone from a friend.

This appears to be an issue with lollipop devices.

I upgraded a few things and it appears that there is an issue with the new gradle.

Downgraded and fixing.   I'll have an update out in about 2 min.  You should see it in abut 30.

I'm having trouble accessing my thermostat with this update. The app crashes when trying to pull up the thermostat. I have also added it to the home screen and it shows text that says error: device takes or not supported" and then it lists the node address

Please send me these errors so I can debug them. It is possible that it is a thermostat that I have not got completely working yet.

Just sent a crash report. The thermostat is an insteon model that was working in previous versions.

I know where it is failing, just not much information why.  Can you try to do a Data Refresh from the settings page and tell me what happens after that?

OK.  I see the issue as it pertains to Agave.

now to fix it.

What mode is your thermostat in?  I am only aware of 8 separate states that an insteon thermostat can be in.  I see that yours is set to "11" .  I need to get information on this to fix it.

Did you recently change the mode on your thermostat?

Weird thing, i just logged into the console and it said the mode was "11" which i have never seen before. I toggled it to heat and then back to off and agave is back to the way it should be. Appreciate your help and sorry for your troubles.

No problem I added a catch that will not crash the app when this happens again. Thank you for posting it.
