Am I missing something. Is it a ilearn repeat or connector or module setting? and my test button is grayed out. Edited May 26, 2016 by chachdog
builderb Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 When you test the resource in the network module, what response do you get?

chachdog Posted May 26, 2016 Author Posted May 26, 2016 I hadn't' hit save i guess outside the resource editor. It works!
builderb Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 test is grayed outClick on the resource in question, the test button should become available.
chachdog Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 Is it possible to build the sendir commands manually without the ilearn app? can i look on the internet for discreet codes and modify them or is it different format?
builderb Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 There are sites that post IR codes so you can just copy and paste them. I got all my Onkyo receiver commands that way. Search for 'discrete IR codes' online.

builderb Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 If you find hex values like these, use the GC iConvert app to translate them into usable strings.
chachdog Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 i just found this.. https://irdb.globalcache.com/Home/Database
coder96 Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 At the end of the ir sting it should be \n\r not /n/r. The line feed is not being sent just the string /n/r
rlanza1054 Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 (edited) Hi, I've been looking around for instructions on setting up the ISY so I can send commands to the Global Cache iTach WF2IR unit I just purchased. I want to send a Power On/Off (Piwer Toggle command) to my Air Conditioner. I believe I have the codes leaned via iLearn that comes with the iYTach. Plus I think I also have the CCF codes that I downloaded. I have another device that works talking to the iTach. I just am looking for instructions on how to get the ISY to talk to the iTach. Can you point me to the place wherer you got your instructions. I am assuming I need the Network Module installed to make this work? Or is having the ISY Helper good enough to use as well? Thank you!
