I have been using locative and portal IFTTT inbound events to geofence. I have it working fine with several different users.turning the alarm on/off when they arrive/leave, etc.

Family members get more permissions than guests.. I just realized however that the URL I paste into locative uses the same key for all events. The naming convention for family and guests are pretty much the same so if a guest thought about it a little, they could change their name in the URL to my name and have the higher permissions it affords. Doesn't seem very secure. I don't see a way to use different keys for different people. What am I missing?

Currently, there is a single key per portal user account (I believe).

 

Create a second Portal user account for secondary users.. that way there is a separate key.
