I've seen very good reviews about Samsung SmartThings.

 

However I am afraid you have to configure everything through and app and not from a computer like ISY994

 

I believe in order to have something powerful, you need a computer program (Indigo, HouseLinc, ISY994i Admin Console)

 

Anybody here has SmartThings?

 

If so, why?

 

How is it different from ISY994izw

Is it more compatible?

    One thing you must note about SmarThings is that most everything runs in the cloud.

    Dear Michael after I mark something as solve can you please close the thread as I the answer was already resolved.

     

    I will buy Z-Wave for ISY994 tomorrow!!!

     

    Then if cloud goes off, internet goes off, time warner modem fails, etc, my Z-Wave will work with Insteon devices.
