Battery Status Not Working (anymore)

Featured Replies

Last week I had a leak and no amount of ISY querying it could reset the status to dry again.

The button on the LD toggles the status on this one.

Query may not clear the alarms, normally its up to the device to send a 'clear' event.  We may have to add something to our code to allow you to reset it manually (if not on the device itself).

Hmm -- I've had a few leak sensors go off and as long as I press the little button on the leak sensor, it usually clears itself.    You cannot clear it remotely.

As for query -- I mis-remembered -- it wasn't the leak sensor (they cleared themsevles after a button press), it was a low battery indicator on a insteon motion sensor.  You could change the battery but the low battery flag wouldn't clear until I issued a query, but then it cleared right up.

I have recently added queries to all my MS LOwBatt signals, for my 4:00AM clean-up cycle, finding they may not ever be "cocked" to fire the signal and been very flakey in the past.

They were previously always blank and now always Off.

Reviving this post. Has the battery issue been addressed / looked at? Just wondering where this is?
