jakked Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Working on setting up nodelink (0.6.4) for the first time. I have the server running and connecting to the ISY. I've added a venstar color thermostat in the devices and set the IP address. Also I have the relay server running with the network resources setup. I can see the venstar unit in the ISY but no values. Below is the output from the logging from the node link web server: 2016-09-12 16:16:11 - ISY NodeLink Server v0.6.4 started 2016-09-12 16:16:11 - Web config server started (http://10.10.100.99:8090) 2016-09-12 16:16:11 - ISY resolved to 10.10.100.109 2016-09-12 16:16:11 - ISY Node Server config detected (profile 1) 2016-09-12 16:16:17 - Venstar Web Error: The operation has timed out [ven1] 2016-09-12 16:16:17 - Auto-Update: Checking for program update... 2016-09-12 16:16:17 - Auto-Update: No web update available 2016-09-12 16:16:17 - Relay Server: Started on port 2405 2016-09-12 16:16:23 - Venstar Web Error: The operation has timed out [ven1] 2016-09-12 16:16:23 - Venstar Stat Data - [ven1] 2016-09-12 16:16:58 - Venstar Web Error: The operation has timed out [ven1] 2016-09-12 16:16:58 - Venstar Stat Data - [ven1] What am I missing?
paulbates Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 You have to restart the isy and the nodeserver, sometimes several times after installing the nodeserver profile initially. Also, the local api feature needs to be configured in the thermostat under wifi / local api. I'm thinking its that. Paul

I'll try enabling the API in the thermostat and report back.
