triggerlinc state after power fail

Is there a way to force a 'default' state for a triggerlinc after a power fail?  A triggerlinc shows a 'blank' state at the ISY after a power fail.  I understand that the ISY cannot query the triggerlinc (to save power at the triggerlinc).

I have triggerlincs on entry doors and would like for them to default to closed after a power fail.

The closet thing you can do to achieve this is either using a variable to track the last known state. Or track the heart beat in a crude way which relies on several programs to validate the 24 hour heart beat check in.

You cannot change the default state. That's why it's called "default." But there may be a solution if your sensor is prior to v.1.9.
