Adgj533 Posted December 26, 2016 Share Posted December 26, 2016 Hey all i have been using echo as bluetooth speaker to play music from my pc, i was using a usb dongle but few days ago it stopped working so i thought the dongle was at fault and ordered another one. turns out same problem, the Problem is that there is no audio coming out of echo. Windows media player shows song is playing and echo is connected and stuff. still no sound . I tried setting it as default, reinstalling drivers etc still no use please help Quote Link to comment
stusviews Posted December 26, 2016 Share Posted December 26, 2016 AFAIK, the Amazon Echo does not include a Bluetooth receiver, only a transmitter. You can output to a Bluetooth speaker, but you can't send a Bluetooth signal to the Echo. This thread may help. Quote Link to comment

But this is really a forum about using the Amazon Echo with the ISY, which I don't think the OP has, so should probably go to Amazon for help.
