smokegrub
The siren is a product that I would really love to own. I am compelled to defer my purchase, however, until these issues and others are sorted out.
Brian H
I tried manually linking with the Siren Module on one end of the house and the Mini Remote on the other end. Like we found was needed with the old original Remotelinc. It then linked properly. Then it worked where the original location linking was tried and failed. I suspect it could be a corrupt link when done too close. Its RF receiver and power line signals from other Dual Band devices maybe conflicting. I also found the Communications Tests are different. From the earlier firmware Siren Module If it is the one running the tests. Other Dual Band Modules flash their LEDs Red or Green as expected. Any other module running the tests. Result in the Siren Modules Beeper beeping but the LED never flashes at all. If enabled stays solid Green. If disabled stays solid Red. The earlier firmware. The LED did flash but always Green if enabled or Red if disabled.
