Insteon 2842-222 Dusk-Dawn Sensor

I have been recently installing some 2842-222 Motion Sensors and having good success. Recently, one of the sensor quit responding via the Dusk-Dawn portion of the sensor. All the others appear to be working OK. Any recommendations on how to this portion of the sensor to respond again?

Thanks

Click the linking button, on the MS, seven times rapidly to send the current light dark status without any delay.

There will be a slight delay (2-3 seconds) before the MS will recognise any light level changes though using this test technique.

It is possible you have lost a link with the MS. The way to check is to put the MS in linking mode and using admin console right click and load the device's link table. In that chart you will find a compare option to compare it with what ISY thinks it should be.

Any differences? Right click the device in admin console and select Restore while in linking mode.

Something of note that I have observed with the MS, if the battery gets low and before a low battery notification is sent, the MS can start to do weird things.

I wrote a recorder hat records every MS LowBatt signal into a variable more than a year ago.

I would say that most of my 10 MSes never send a low battery signal even when flashing for a month or completely dying.

It does seem to be very random. I am looking for an economical method of using adapters to stop having to replace a battery every month.

larryliix - thanks. The multiple presses of the SET button brought it back to life, in addition to spending a little time in my sweatshirt pocket. In other posts, I have noticed others referencing multiple presses of the SET button to solve a problem. Where is this documented? How do I know how many presses to solve a particular problem?

Thanks again with all the help.
