5.0.8 update kills my Z-wave

Good Evening Automators!

So I upgraded my firmware to version 5.0.8 to see if it handles Z-wave any better than 4.5.4 did (because it was awful) and now I've seemingly added my door lock to the z-wave network and it has in fact "stuck" this time instead of immediately falling off the proverbial wagon into deep space (yey). HOWEVER, I now have a problem where any of my Z-wave devices throw a "Error: Not implemented" code... What does that mean? clearly I have the Z-wave module (hard-coded chip) and Z-Wave software to control it (with appropriately updated firmware (4.55)) and all modules are up to date (supposedly). After my Upgrade to 5.0.2 I had to factory reset to access the admin console, change the admin password back to its original (for Home Assistant configs to work properly), then install the new 5.0.8 firmware, then restore from backup to get my devices and programs. All other devices and programs imported just fine, the Z-Wave on the other hand... Z-Wave has never been nice to me, and I'm not sure if it is UDI's implementation of it or that Z-Wave is really this difficult to work with, but it has certainly left a sour taste in my mouth. Is anybody else having MAJOR issues with adding/maintaining basic Z-Wave devices on their ISY 994i/ZW/IR/Pro device?

If you installed your Kwikset in version 4 did you perform a z-wave backup before an ISY backup back in v4.5.4? The z-wave backup is contained in the ISY backup but only if you first do a z-wave backup. Not sure if this might be a contributing factor to your problem.

I am not running v5 software yet since it is still in alpha so have not experienced these issues.

You appear to have a 'Repeater' listed. Is it an 'Aeon Repeater'?

I had tons of issues with my two Kwikset locks with those repeaters in my zwave network. I had to remove them and replace with other devices to strengthen the zwave network. Try an Aeon Siren instead - it properly supports the command classes needed for zwave locks to work properly. (Assure, my locks are working perfectly on 4.x).

Zwave issues are usually caused by a weak mesh of devices not properly supporting the protocol. Fix that, and it's likely your issues will go away (even staying on 4.x).

Good Evening,

Michel!! Spot on diagnoses

I followed this guide to a proverbial "t" (http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/20686-release-508-alpha-is-now-available/) and I uh... can't find a UI DL (I dont remember having to DL it before (but that doesn't mean I didn't either))

The "UI" is called the Admin Console.  Start at step 6 in the link above to clear your Java cache and download the right version of the Admin Console in step 7.

THANKS!! I deleted my cache (again), deleted all instances of downloaded admin.jnlp that I've acquired, re-downloaded it fresh, installed it and that updated my UI. I'll report back tomorrow on the over-all state of Z-Wave on ISY

Update: ISY's Z-Wave integration just isn't ready for prime-time. Nothing seems to make my ISY control my door. I will be integrating my Z-wave door with my Home Assistant via a Z-Stick. I am sorry I spent the extra money on the Z-wave version of the ISY :(, oh well, live and learn right?

According to the screenshot you posted, your zwave network does not have sufficient devices connected that are known to properly repeat secure signals that the locks require. Until you fix that, locks won't work well at all. It's not the ISYs fault - many of us (myself included) have long had great success with zwave locks on the ISY.
