bbb2008 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 When I remote in to my ISY-991 via the internet from another computer I can not acces the administrative console. I can only access thru the devices page. The remote computer has java loaded on it. Any suggestions?
gregoryx Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 perhaps the Java applet uses a different port than 80? if so, you'd need to open that port on the firewall.

This is most likly a problem with either your security settings or anti-virus software on your computer.

Would you be kind enough to try an access ISY using its URL locally (instead of http://www.universal-devices.com/99i)? You can find ISY's URL by going to Help->About and the value for My URL is your ISY's direct URL. If this does not work either, then please send an email to support@universal-devices.com and we'll try to debug it remotely. If you can access your ISY using its URL locally, then the problem must be the Java installation and/or firewall issues on the remote computer.
