When I remote in to my ISY-991 via the internet from another computer I can not acces the administrative console. I can only access thru the devices page. The remote computer has java loaded on it.

Any suggestions?

perhaps the Java applet uses a different port than 80? if so, you'd need to open that port on the firewall.

This is most likly a problem with either your security settings or anti-virus software on your computer.

Hello bbb2008,

I do apologize for the inconvenience. Would you be kind enough to try an access ISY using its URL locally (instead of http://www.universal-devices.com/99i)? You can find ISY's URL by going to Help->About and the value for My URL is your ISY's direct URL. If this does not work either, then please send an email to support@universal-devices.com and we'll try to debug it remotely.

If you can access your ISY using its URL locally, then the problem must be the Java installation and/or firewall issues on the remote computer.

With kind regards,

Michel
