Can't access Admin Console with VPN on

I use a VPN service for all my WEB connections while at my home or on the road.  I find that I cannot connect to the portal with the VPN on.  If I try, it sits at the Universal Devices logo for a long time and then the finder pops up with a message saying, "ISY Finder: Not Found".  If I shut off the VPN, it connects fine.

 

Anyone else have this issue and have you found a way around it other than shutting off the VPN?
