apostolakisl Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 As requested, I'm reposting this to its own thread. My suggestion is to be able to switch between modes (by mode I mean like Things/Rooms/Elk/Weather/etc) by swiping left and right. Perhaps allow the user to select which things are part of the swipe. Like if you often use rooms and weather and elk, then you can scroll by swiping left and right through those three things. It would require disabling the swipe left/right in Elk and programs since currently a left/right swipe in programs moves you to variables and left/right swipe in Elk does stuff too. It is just as fast to "click" on the variables icon or zones icon at the top of those pages as opposed to swiping. Switching between modes is something you do a lot (going from say elk to scenes) and is currently a multi-step process of clicking the "hamburger" icon and then finding the mode you want in small type (for those of us getting presbyopia) and clicking on it.
pyrorobert Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Great idea, but I was wondering if there is a way to have widgets to get to rooms, home page, or scenes? If I had a quicker way to get my devices or controls right from my home page that would be great.

If you mean the latter, it is already a feature of Agave.
pyrorobert Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I meant on the home page of my phone. I do already have my home page set up. I would just like to have it on a widget for quicker access.
