I have an ISY connected to my portal, but how do i get the HTTPS web address for the device?

If you want to remote access your ISY via the portal:

 

Method 1

• Go to the ISY Portal  https://my.isy.io -\
• Fill in your credentials
• Next to the Portal Login button is a drop down... Pick Go to My ISY
• You will be presented with the ISY Web Page, secured via HTTPS

 

Method 2

• Go to the ISY Portal  https://my.isy.io -\
• Fill in your credentials and click portal login
• Select Tool > Information > ISY Information
• Copy the long URL next to URL to ISY
• Save a link to that. You still need the portal credentials to login, frequently

Also, you may mean using the Admin console remotely

Just a reminder that this ISY Portal button will display the last option you selected in the pulldown.

 

IOW:"Portal Login"  or "Go to My ISY" may not be on the   button shwoing, unless that was your last selected option.

It's been a long time since I had to do this.

another question-

The device is in a remote location from me. I have forgotten the log in information. 

Do I have to ge and manually reset the device to login with new log on information?

The login via the ISY portal is the same as the ISY Portal login, not the ISY login.

 

If you have forgotten, then use an automatic password fill-in  from your browser and change your login to something you can remember. Creat a short email with the info and mail it to yourself, saving it in an obscure and not obvious folder. Keep a note book in your desk drawer?
