oronomus Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I ran a restore on my remotelinc to solve some communication errors. Now when I logon I get a "Cannot Communicate with RemoteLinc Scene 1 (A 13 35 1) Please Check Connection" error message. The restore seemed to completed successfully (although I had to put the remotelinc in communication mode a few times during the restore). The RemoteLinc does what it is supposed to do. I also restored some of the troublesome LampLincs controlled by the RL. What should I try next? Thanks!
Sub-Routine Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Occasionally RemoteLincs and Motion Sensors send NAK messages, we don't know why. When the ISY sees the NAK it sees it as a communication error. To clear the error put the RemoteLinc in communication mode and run a Query. Rand
oronomus Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 Thanks, Rand, I ran several Queries with the RL in communication mode. When I log-off and then log back on, the same error message keeps popping up. My system seems fully responsive to the RL and I can obviously clear the message, so this is not a big deal, but would still like to solve it. I am having occassional communication problems, so I am trying to eliminate any unknowns. -O
