September 22, 20178 yr I've included this device into my network (it is the only Z-wave device at this time), but I can only control one of the two outlets. The instructions do not reference the ISY944 and so I'm guessing there is a basic compatibility issue. The instructions for other hubs implies that I should expect 3 nodes to appear (Channel 1, Channel 2, Both), but I just get one node which controls Channel 1. Anyone have experience with this device?

If this is a multi-channel device you will need to consider using the Alpha 5.XX firmware branch. As the 4.XX doesn't support multi-channel Z-Wave hardware. Please note the 5.XX firmware branch is still in Alpha trials and is not to be used in a production environment where reliability and up time is the primary goal. Having said this many have had great results using the last release of 5.0.10.
September 23, 20178 yr Author Thanks Teken...I should have been able to figure that out if I had been paying attention to other discussion on this forum. I got a response Inovelli that said the same thing. However, they went on to say that they felt responsible for not making this clear on the Amazon page and so they issued a full refund, but told me to keep the unit which should eventually be fully functional with the new UDI firmware. Very prompt and above/beyond response to an issue that was at least half my fault and so I wanted to give them props for excellent customer service. If you look at the comments section on Amazon, you see the same level of customer service with any reported problems.

[emoji106] That's a solid vendor for sure and service after the sale. If you're so inclined to move forward using the Alpha 5.0.10 firmware branch. Ensure you make a backup of the existing 4.X.X system. Follow and understand all the steps and caveats noted in the announcement. Then give it a go and see what happens. It works you win! It doesn't ~ You simply roll back to the 4.X.X firmware via the restore ISY from a backup. Then Rock On . . .
October 30, 20178 yr Hey all, Eric from Inovelli here -- first, thanks so much for the shoutout, that's very humbling to say the least I wanted to follow up here and see if the new 5.XX firmware helped recognize both channels? It'd be nice to take UD off the non-compatible section! Anyway, thanks again for all your support and kind words, it actually really does mean a lot. Hope you both have a great night and I hope to hear from you soon! Eric Founder | Inovelli
November 8, 20178 yr I just received the NZW37 two channel plug-in modeule and this is what I see in ISY. It added three items. IZW 014 On-Off Power Switch and ZW 014.1 On-Off Power Switch are channel 1. ZW 014.2 On-Off Power Switch is channel 2. Each time I try to set a Z-Wave parameter an error is shown. The ZW 009 Siren is actually the Aeotec Doorbell.
November 9, 20178 yr I also received the dual switch today. When I included it in my ISY 5.0.10 3 nodes came up, ZW 133-1, ZW 133-001 and ZW 133-002 . 133-1 and 133-001 control the same plug and 133-002 the other. It works fine so far, but why do I have 2 nodes controlling the same plug ?

November 9, 20178 yr Hopefully, Michel and Chris will see and comment.I have it on good authority that UDI is being sent devices to test with. Edited November 9, 20178 yr by Gary Funk
November 9, 20178 yr Gary That is what I expected but it does not. I just tested the module in SmartThings and indeed, the first 'node' does turn on both channels. We will have to wait to hear from Chris and Michel.
November 9, 20178 yr It is not a big issue for me as in this case I have no use for switching both off or on. However I can see that it would be useful in some cases. I just moved one of the nodes to a separate folder. I DO like the device as it allows to control 2 independent devices and it is small, allowing me to use the top outlet for something else. Hopefully Inovelli comes out with more new products.

I've seen this behavior before on a couple of other HUB's, so I'm not entirely sure if it's a matter of coding or a matter of how the HUB/Gateway sees the actual device. Hopefully we'll get this figured out shortly! As for new products, buckle up, it's going to be a wild November/December for new products coming out

November 9, 20178 yr It's beginning to look a lot like a Z-Wave Christmas. That would be great because we don't have white Christmas here in Miami
November 9, 20178 yr Some interesting devices coming. We know UDI is working as best as can be to get 5.0 out and enhance Z-Wave. 2018 is going to see some advancements in Home Control. In 2 or 3 years we may even see some good Home Automation.
January 3, 20196 yr Testing NZW37 with 5.0.14 results: ZWxxx_1 node: All On - both outlets turn on All Off - both outlets turn off On - left outlet turns on Off - left outlet turns off ZWxxx_001_1 node: All On - both outlets turn on All Off - both outlets turn off On - left outlet turns on Off - left outlet turns off ZWxxx_002_1 node: All On - nothing happens All Off - both outlets turn off On - right outlet turns on Off - right outlet turns off Using the button on the device itself (single click is both outlets on/off, double click is left outlet on/off, triple click is right outlet on/off), there was absolutely no z-wave communication at all reflected in the event viewer. The NZW36 1-channel version updates status in the ISY via a manual button click, in case anyone is curious. Hopefully this is helpful information for someone.
