I am selling my ISY994 Pro IR with PLM on Ebay. I had a network plugin module and the portal setup. How do I factory reset it so all my secure data is wiped? Here is what I have done:

1. Formatted SD card - but it did not complete successfully - it just hung in telnet for at least 10 minutes. A folder with my name still shows up in the webserver file/folder list. Not sure how to wipe that.

2. Manually deleted all devices, programs, variables, network resources from the java portal

3. reset the username/password to admin/admin

4. reset the IP address to DHCP

The 2413S PLM you need only remove it from power for 10 seconds. Then hold the black set button and apply power while holding the set button. The unit will beep to let you know its been erased.

 

You can also issue the *Delete PLM Modem* command in the Admin Console . . .
