November 30, 20177 yr io_guy: Being able to update the V5 Nodedefs and reboot the ISY right from the Nodelink device page is a great feature. Having the nodedef update button "disappear" when the nodedefs are current helps as well. Thanks! Paul
November 30, 20177 yr Very handy. But I certainly hope that the end game is that the ISY and Admin Console will be able to react to changes in the nodedefs gracefully without a reboot required.

I have my doubts we'll see that anytime soon. Assuming the node install works for people I plan to add an option for it to happen automatically in a future release.
December 1, 20177 yr Michael frowned on reboot to update the certificate via Let's Encrypt (every 3 months) but they seem to be ok with reboots for the NodeDef...

December 1, 20177 yr They could always make it as a notification - like your certificate has been updated, please reboot at your earliest convenience.
