brandon0921 Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Hey all - I searched, but was unable to find an answer to this. I am unable to control the ramp rate on the Insteon Keypad when holding the "on" and "off" buttons. I have a scene with the following that I am trying to control: 1 wall switch with 3 LED can lights 1 fan module with 4 LED lights connected 1 keypad to control the lights together I can adjust the ramp rates which works if I just press the on or off button, but I was modular control over the ramp rate when holding the button so I can stop on the desired brightness as I would with a standard dimmer switch. Hoping this is possible, haven't been able to figure it out playing around and searching online for answers.
lilyoyo1 Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) If your scene is set at a particular ramp rate, the lights will ramp up together at the same time. The difference between led bulbs can effect how quickly they ramp which may be what you are seeing. If the lights are at different levels there is no way to set them to the same level just by holding the button. You would need to create a scene that takes them to a preset level. That way regardless of where they are set at, they all turn to the preset level when you hit that button. Edited January 24, 2018 by lilyoyo1
MWareman Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 I don’t think Insteon devices support adjusting the ‘Button Hold’ ramp rate. I think it’s fixed in firmware.
