I just added a M1XIN expander to my system. The enrollment went as it should. I can see the expander in my RP software. But when i view my devices in the status window the input i set up won't change state. It only shows N/A.

Any help with a step i may have missed?

Did you assign all the devices different addresses? This always messes me up!

I don’t think I did. I added it with the keypad and set it up in the RP Software. I see the new inputs but didn’t do anything past that.

Maybe I can find directions on assigning addresses on YouTube?

Each keypad, xep, expander, two way transmitter etc need to have it assigned a unique ID. Read the M1 installation manual. Read it again. Then one more time. I even go back to it for installs sometimes. Make sure jumpers to terminate are set at eol. (Not needed for expanders) Keypads always start at 1 so make sure if you have more to change them.

If all else fails PM me and I’ll call you and try and help.

Thanks. I figured it is just a step I’m missing. I’ll go over the manual a couple of times and find it.

Thanks!
