glacier991 Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 I just am getting acquainted with Agave and liking the experience. I expecially like that they can display all the sensor data from the AEON 6 sensor array motion sensor. I have some (much cheaper) motionsensors that seem to be ubiquitous and marketed under several brands, including "Monoprice" where I got mine. Cost about $25. I have a few minor issues with these, but overall they suit some purposes where I don't want to spend $60 for the AEON unit. They output motion sensor on/off, battery status, temperature (in C, working on how to change that to F) and tampering. However all Agave seems to see out of that is just the battery status. Am I missing something, or is there a way to have Agave see at least the motion sensor output? (or other putputs but MS is my man concern at the moment.).
Harvvm Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 I have a Zooz multisensor which I believe is the same as the Monoprice. I am seeing all the data in Agave. Try refreshing the Agave data. To change to Deg f set parameter 1 to value of 1.
glacier991 Posted March 9, 2018 Author Posted March 9, 2018 I am running 4.62. I think I am going to need to move up to 5.10 to address parameters, no? Thanks for the advice on Agave < I will try refreshing.
Harvvm Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 You should be able to set parameters @ 4.62. I am at 5.12. I get errors when setting parameters but they usually take.
glacier991 Posted March 24, 2018 Author Posted March 24, 2018 I have changed over to try the monopod twin of the Zoos sensor. I am seeing the multisensor data but no motion detection appears. There is an "OFF" icon which never changes state.
glacier991 Posted March 30, 2018 Author Posted March 30, 2018 Another issue I am having with AGAVE (which I plan to subscribe to when my 30 days expires) is not only does it not report motion sensing on the Monoprice sensors, but on both my monoprice sensors AND the few Aoetec 6 sensor devices I have (where motion is reported nicely) it reports temperature without a decimal...eg. 63.55 is reported as 6355 degrees. Small annoyance but like to see it report accurately. Also thank you for fixing the spelling of temperature. Hard (or embarassing) to show off a "gee whiz" interface when there is a typo....
glacier991 Posted April 3, 2018 Author Posted April 3, 2018 Great work... the temp issue is FIXED! THANK YOU. (and I am posting my requests to the AgaveHA site now....where I purchased full access)
