nasa01 Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Hi, I have had my ISY994i (with z-wave) for a few years now. I was/am attempting to add a new switch, which wasn't/isn't working (another thread coming for that is) - this led me to try and do a Synchronize /all command. As it ran, it created a number of "unresponsive device" nodes... How do I get rid of these without having to do a factory reset on the z-wave dongle? My network isn't the largest, but it would be painful to have to rebuild it from scratch. Appreciate any hints I can get!
asbril Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 This is indeed a bug for which I have not seen a real solution. There is an option ( ZWAVE - OPTIONS - FREEZE ISY NODES - YES ) which prevents these nodes to be added, but frequently this option changes to NO for no known reason. I created a folder named 'Phantom devices' and move these nodes to that folder.
nasa01 Posted March 24, 2018 Author Posted March 24, 2018 Thanks Asbril, Good to see I'm not the only one seeing this... Have you noticed any negative impact from this bug?

Michel Kohanim Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Hi nasa01, Those nodes are things that are in your Z-Wave dongle but no longer associated with ISY. What you need to do is Right mouse click | Z-Wave | Remove Failed Node. With kind regards, Michel 1
nasa01 Posted March 27, 2018 Author Posted March 27, 2018 Thanks Michel, Didn't even no that option existed! 1
