3 year old ISY-994i/IR-Pro , PLM dead, trying to restart

Trying to get my zwave system up and running again. Totally reset the ISY, upgraded to newest firmware and found the PLM dead.
Went to see about getting a new one, the reviews are horrible.

I saw in the newest firmware says you don't need a plm now, but everytime I bring up the software on my mac it connects and puts me into safe mode.

Is my device to old to not use a plm?
Any help would be great.
Thanks

Hi, I am having a similar problem.  What did your isy lights look like?  What I found was :

1  isy not found on my network.

2  no Ethernet port activity lights on isy or router.

3 only power light lit on isy.

From what you have learned, is the isy dead or just stuck in a reboot state?  ( this happened following a power fail).

What firmware and UI are you using? Make sure the firmware and UI are the sanme versions. There is firmware available that allows the ISY to operate without a PLM.  If you have only Z-Wave devices this would work for you. However, if you have Insteon devices you will need a PLM.

Both are 4.6.2.    Everything I have is zwave.  I was never interested in Insteon, only zwave, so never installed any of that stuff.
I haven't even re enrolled stuff as it is only in safe mode (dont know If I can)

Have you followed the procedures listed in the link below?
