Repeater Recommendations

Appears I need a zwave repeater to communicate between the basement and family room located a floor above/across.  What are you folks recommending that works with 5.0.12?

You will find some people found the range extender you mention to be equal in performance to the siren. A repeater that also functions as another device gives you the possibility of using the same device for two tasks. Without a doubt the Aeotec siren has performed well for many on this forum, including me.

I do know the (original) Aeotec repeater did nothing for me, while the siren worked wonders.

I cannot speak for the newer repeater.

Personally, I’d go with the proven device that also has a siren capability rather than the device that serves no other purpose.

Went with the new repeater and is working just fine.... Gotta love Amazon!
