jkraus
can an insteon device B be controlled if it is on a circuit activated live by an Insteon A device turned on first? eg a lamplinc plugged into an outletlinc?
Brian H
Are you talking one in the pass through outlet of the other? Yes I have two ApplicnceLincs stacked. If you mean will a LampLinc in the controlled outlet of a ApplianceLinc. I don't know. Other than if the ApplianceLinc was off the LampLinc would not respond to commands and maybe extra traffic on the power line as the retries where being hopped around. Sub-Routine
I have several LampLincs plugged into a power strip. They return to their previous state when the strip is turned on. I considered using an ApplianceLinc to control the power strip but the total load I have is very close to the limit of an AL so I am reluctant to try that. I created a Scene with all my devices except those LampLincs and I use that for my 3AM Query to avoid the Cannot Communicate with... pop-ups.
