CLOSED --- Z-Wave 500 Series Beta
Hello everyone,
We need a max of 100 very eager volunteers who don't mind spending some time testing our newest 500 series Z-Wave dongle. Just to let you know what's involved:
You must be running 5.0.13
You must backup your Z-Wave dongle (Z-Wave | Tools | Backup) … this is going to take a LONG time so, if you decide to go for this beta, it's best to backup now
Disable query at restart
Replace the dongle
Restore your Z-Wave dongle by doing Z-Wave | Tools
I just had a chance to install the new board this morning. It took 3 attempts to successfully perform a Z-Wave restore, but all is well now. No discernible differences.
Edit: If it's interesting, I excluded and included my Schlage deadbolt while it remained in the door, and it appears to have excluded/included just fine. It has a new Z-Wave number, but it seems to be securely included, and as far as I can tell, it's working entirely as intended. I have several Z-Wave repeaters between i
