Appliancelinc and keypadlinc to control each other

Hi,

 

Have an ApplianceLinc and a keyPadLinc

Using the B scene button to turn the applicaneLinc On and Off

 

Created a scene that has the KeypadLink B as the controller - controlling the appliancelinc. Given the appliancelinc only seems to be a responder, how do we get them to work together so if the appliancelinc is on (however - like by the side button) then the keypadlinc B button is lit (ON)

Unfortunately this is currently not possible because the ApplianceLinc is not a controller (it does not send out a signal when it is turned on).

 

The only way I can think of would be to create a program that periodically queries the status of the ApplianceLinc and updates the KeypadLinc button accordingly.
