Google now uses Room in Lights commands

Good news Google Home now uses the Room when issuing commands and no longer switches all lights off when asked to turn the lights off. A lights off/on command will only effect the lights assignrd to the same room as the Google Home or mini etc. To switch all lights off/on you have to state all lights and only devices assigned as lights are effected. This is a major improvement.... Also their music capabilities have been greatly improved, my albums that I have uploaded now play without problems.

Woot! About time. This should have been the situation from when they first started prompting for devices to be assigned to room....

I can now add a *lot* more spokens!

If you have a google home assigned to a room but don’t actually have any lights assigned to the same room it will still shut off all lights in house. Therefore make sure you have at least one light assigned to a room which contains a google home. Not a big deal but may be cases where this is an issue.

Nice catch... I have one Google Home where that was happening (working fine on the other 5 Google Homes I have) and I hadn’t put any thought to it yet...
