droidsteve Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Recently purchased isy-99i and plm. No matter how I hook them up, i never get power lights on the isy, btw, this is my second isy... How can I verify that the isy is or os not the problem? TIA
MikeB Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 The ISY typically receives power from the PLM. If this is your 2nd ISY with the same problem, the issue is most certainly your PLM or possibly the patch cable between the ISY and PLM. Please try a new Cat5 cable between the ISY and PLM if possible. If that does not help, I would recommend returning your PLM for a replacement. If you want to test your ISY, you could power it with an external AC adapter. I personally use a Radio Shack 273-028 here.

Take that out, take out the SD card, and then slide it back in. Sometimes, the SD Card gets loose in shipment. Please do keep me posted. droidsteve Posted July 17, 2009 Author Posted July 17, 2009 Michel, Had to take it apart to reset the SD card (no SD cover), easy to do, but resetting the SD card had no effect....
