The weatherbug data never updates? I see it succeed in the log but the display never reflects any new data. The RSS feed info does not look right from what little I know when I try clicking on the RSS feed in the admin console also ...

Hello danswatman,

Would you be kind enough to try a different station and see if it makes any difference? If it does, then it must be that specific station. Please note that you have 30 days money back guarantee so take your time.

With kind regards,

Michel

The Weatherbug stations are all independent. Sometimes they do fail and may take some time to be repaired. If it's a school you could call and ask them.

As Michel says you should try another station, at least temporarily.

Hello danswatman,

Would you be kind enough to do the following:

1. Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer (choose level 3)

2. Change your WB polling interval to 10 seconds

3. Look at the Event viewer and let me know if you see any errors

With kind regards,

Michel

Hello danswatman, this basically says that the data has been processed and it's OK.

Would you be kind enough to send your station ID so that we can check/compare here?

With kind regards,

Michel

I have tried 98055, 98057, 98390 and 98391.

I hope that's what you are asking,... I see a flash of another screen when I select the zip codes which appears to have the listing of actual stations in the selected zip but it disappears instantly. I was thinking you guys are uesing that for something else..... :?:

That may be your issue.

In the CLIMATE screen, you should click the FIND button which should prompt you for your zip code.

It should then pop up a "Choose Area" window prompting you to choose a city.

After choosing and clicking OK, you should get a "Choose Station" window prompting you to choose a weather station in your area.

If you're not getting these pop-ups, I would close all browser windows and clear your Java cache:

http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache

Also be sure you are running the latest version of Java from:

http://www.java.com

What browser are you running on? What platform (XP, Vista, Mac)? Any firewall / anti-virus software that could be blocking the windows from appearing?

Ok that was what I was not seeing.

After you put in your zip and press find you get another window which shows the same zipcode (odd) then the key is you have to select the zip again in that window (as opposed to selecting ok again) which then opens another window where you can select the actual station ID... Works fine :)

Note I'm not sure I missed the documentation of the module but I was completely unaware I simply needed a station ID to be inserted in the selection, I could have done that directly....

Cheers,

Dan

I was missing that piece... I don't know why I missed that part I seem to have a hard time navigating the Wiki...

This is exciting I can't wait to get home and play further... My only missing piece is full ELK integration, I'd apply pay for that module being all the sensors available from the ELK and the programing ability of the ISY it's the ultimate setup :)
