Culvdave Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 I was linking buttons into IRLinc when I got an error message the ISY was trying to find nodes. Now on admin console IRLinc and all buttons linked have the green football on them. What did I do wrong and how can I fix it? Thanks
Brian H Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 (edited) IRLinc 2411R IR receiver or 2411T IR transmitter? Are you using the Link Management choices to add a node to the receiver or transmitter? The Green Barrels. Do they have a 11011 inside the green circle? That indicates a Write Updates to the device is needed. You should be able to click on one of the green barrels and start a write updated to that node. You can do it for each one. If you have a PRO version of the ISY994i is the automatic writes off? Edited November 25, 2018 by Brian H Add information
Brian H Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 If you have not had a chance to look at the UDI Wiki. It has full users manuals , tutorials, tips and videos. That will give you lots of help and data. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page
Culvdave Posted November 25, 2018 Author Posted November 25, 2018 It's a IRLinc receiver, I'm using link management to link the buttons, it was all working fine, I then added a few more links when it did this. I've tried writing updates to the IR Linc and linked buttons but the green barrel appears again after the process
Culvdave Posted November 25, 2018 Author Posted November 25, 2018 I'm puzzled, last night I tried writing updates to the IRLinc and all the buttons with no joy, tried it again just now starting with the IRLinc itself and then the buttons individually and after I did one of those all seems fine.
Brian H Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 Well the IRLinc is a power line only module. If there was intermittent noise or a signal sucker. That could have caused some issues. My information may have been sketchy. Modules with more than one button. You write updates to the main module in the list. That usually does all of them.
