Mick Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 No network changes in several months, but suddenly the ISY is flashing two LEDS and not accessible via network. I assumed PLM so have just rec'd and replaced the new PLM 24135 rev 2.4 8318 from Amazon. Both off unplugged. Plug in PLM, wait 30 sec, connect port A and power on ISY. No joy, no change! What are the next troubleshooting steps ? IMG_1520.m4v
rccoleman Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 That indicates an Ethernet connectivity problem, not a PLM issue. Some useful steps here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Front_Panel_LEDs.2FLights
Brian H Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 After finding the Ethernet issue. If you use the new PLM . There is a procedure to replace the old one with the replacement. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:File_Menu#Replace_Modem_.28PLM.29
Mick Posted December 11, 2018 Author Posted December 11, 2018 Resolved. It was a network issue. A network switch in wiring closet feeding ISY became unpowered. All is well with old PLM. Thanks for the replies.
