Scene ON/Off and not percentage.

If you're looking at the scene in the admin console then the "current state" of the devices will show either ON, OFF, or the PERCENTAGE.

What version of the ISY firmware and UI are you running?

I am using the Admin Console in v.5.0.14  If the scene is all off the agave will show off. If one light is on the scene will show a percentage. It appears the percentage goes up the more lights in the scene are on.

That is exactly right, and happens to be the way that I, at least, like it: the scene itself is not on, just one or more of its members is/are and that status is reflected in the percentage.

I would like to see the option for it to display a simple on or off for the scene instead of a percentage also.  Maybe there can be an option in the app to select which way you want it displayed.

I have a house fan that has a high and low setting. I use two Insteon on/off micro modules, one to control high and one to control low.

I have to make sure that both micro modules don't turn on at once or I will fry my house fan. So I created a scene for fan high and one for fan low. The scene makes sure that if I select high, the module controlling low is off and vice versa.

Right now, when I select either high or low scene, it shows both scenes as 50%. I need to know which scene is actually on and which one is off.

I am evaluating Agave and so far am really liking it over MobiLinc Pro which I have been using for years. But I can't switch yet as the WAF would be low due to the way it handles scenes.

I am running Agave on an iPhone Xs. My ISY is on 5.0.14.

I would like to see a flag indicating that a scene On was sent to be more truthful. ISY has no way of knowing (In Insteon protocol) that the scene command was successful or that it's status still exists.

Possibly the scene could show On for X seconds and then show nothing.  Or Scene On sent X seconds ago. Scene percentage is just nonsense and just constantly confuses newbies.

Status: "Scene is On unless superseded by many, many other and different device settings from many ,many other devices. Bulbs may have expired." :)

You can customize what devices are included in the scene calculation.  This should fix your issue.  http://agaveha.com/docs/scenes/

See .  http://agaveha.com/docs/scenes/     for customizing the devices included in the calculation.
