BobFrankston Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 It would be very useful if the last status contained a time stamp for when the device was last seen. It would help to manage a hundred devices so I can find out where problems are.
lilyoyo1 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 The isy already tells you if it can't communicate with a device when you open up the console. You can also write programs to get that information sent to you as well. The ISY only communicates with devices when it needs to such as when you open up the admin console, the 3am query, or using a device. This prevents your system from being flooding with messages that will slow it down. With 100 devices constantly checking in, nothing would get through causing more problems than you're already experiencing. If you are having problems with certain devices, it would probably be easier to detail what your going through on the forums to help. You can also query specific devices from time to time and get a text when it doesn't respond by writing a program for that.
