Starting from Scratch (2.6 to 2.75 upgrade issues)

Hi,

I upgraded from 2.6.x to 2.75 a few minutes ago. The strange thing is my ISY99 shows a tab called network which does show all my devices status, but the place where there used to be a drop down of the individual devices is gone.

Of course I didnt do a backup (I tried but it kept failing). Anyway, I didnt have much on my ISY so I dont mind starting from scratch. I bought a triggerlinc & i want to give that a go.

So, how do I do a 'factory reset' with 2.75?

Or with the image below, how do I get it to show my network of Insteon again?

Thanks,

Rich

Hi Rich -

That is an oddity, but please don't try a factory reset.

Have you tried closing all browser windows and clearing your Java cache?

http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache

Also, please visit www.java.com and ensure you are running the latest Java update.

Any firewall/anti-virus applications that might be interfering?

Do you have another PC you can try launching your Admin Console from? If so, what are the results?

Hi Mike,

I have tried on two different PC's with teh same results:

both PC's I cleared the cache for Java

PC 1 has IE 7 (and worked with ISY earlier this evening before the upgrade)

PC 2 has IE 8 (and worked with ISY earlier this evening before the upgrade)

I am also unable to add new linked devices.

I would prefer to have it work as it did before (the lighting was fine but I wanted to remove & readd my motion sensors).

Any ideas on what to do next?

There is no plus mark for me to have the items "drop down" from the list to control.

Thanks,

Rich

EDIT: I have the same results on both PC's.

Mike,

Its been a while since I did this. Can you tell me how to find my IP address? I know its static. I will just put that IP in my DMZ & send the info.

Thanks,

Rich
