GE Smart Window AC Unit

ISY 994i/IR Pro using MobiLinc X is there a way to control a GE smart AC unit instead of using the GE stand alone App,  it works off of WiFi?

No/Maybe. Mobilinc can control devices and programs that are defined in the ISY. Here are exceptions

• If there are public definitions of an API (application programming interface) for the AC, and ISY Network Resources  could control it, then you could define network resources and write ISY programs to call the network resouces and mobilinc could control those programs
   
• AFAIK, Mobilinc (as well as the other ISY mobile apps) can not control devices defined as Nodeserver Node ... yet

So, I'll add one more to my list. The page for the GE AC units I found said it works with IFTTT.  I believe moblinc X works with IFTTT, as does the ISY portal.

@InsteonNut - I've wandered outside of what I know. Can you respond with what the possibilities are in this case?

Yes! If the device supports IFTTT then that's a great way to bring support for it into MobiLinc X. We have an official channel with IFTTT where you can tie anything in IFTTT to your ISY OR trigger anything in IFTTT from a status/program/variable change from your ISY with just a few taps in the IFTTT app.

I just released a Custom Button feature for MobiLinc X with a video showing how you can integrate a product connected with IFTTT into MobiLinc X for status and control. The example I use is the Roomba.
