Gotcha. Is there any advantage to using the Insteon garage controller instead of Myq. I actually have to wait for Polisy to come out. I am able to use Polyglot cloud for now and that node is not available there.

You can get a Raspberry Pi and install Polyglot on that to run local.  That's how most do it today.

I don't have MyQ so I don't know anything about that opener.  I had a Z-Wave Linear/GoControl/Nortek opener and it worked well.  I switched over to the IOLinc for testing and I like them so far.  They work as intended AFTER you replace the contact sensor that comes in the "kit" from SmartHome with a proper Normally Closed sensor.  Otherwise the status is all backwards

In your case, I'd wait for Polisy and use that over using insteon.
