Kwickset Door Lock will not unlock

Featured Replies

Kwickset 99140-023 will lock but not unlock through Zwave.  Kwickset says it is not them and must be UD-ISY.  Ideas?

I have a Kwikset that was sent for testing and it locks and unlocks.  The lock itself "sticks" (could be low batteries) but the commands are issued and the lock responds.  I looked at it and I don't see a model number though.  So I don't know how much this helps.

I have a 909 that I later added a z-wave card, so not sure what model that would make it now. It works fine. Did the inclusion go OK? Did you have it really close to the ISY?

The isy works without issue with kwikset. What does your zwave setup consist of? Distance, repeating devices and models? What firmware and UI are you running

I am using firmware 4.7.3. It can fully communicate with the lock (battery status, set codes, etc) EXCEPT just can't unlock.

Bring it closer to to your isy. Remove it then re-add it. Once done, test to ensure it can lock and unlock. If it does without issue, you need additional repeaters
