Cannot re-link Universal Devices to Google Home

Not sure what happened between now & last spring.  GH was set up with ISY and worked well.  When we returned this fall, GH could not work the lights.  Instead, I'd get response "Universal Devices is not available now".

I checked this forum & found some older threads but the fixes (namely unlink/re-link UD from all user accounts) did not work for me. While I was able to unlink UD from all accounts, I find now I cannot re-link the device. I've tried rebooting GH and ISY, but nothing seems to work.

I've gone though the steps to "add new" device serval times. I can select UD and the ISY Portal window opens.  I then log in and while it appears to be linking, my phone app jumps to the device screen. I go back to see if the device was added, UD is still missing.  Any help would be appreciated.

OK, Solved my issue, and that was:

I have two ISY's linked to my ISY Portal (North Home & South Home).

My Portal account specific the North Home as the "preferred device".

Since I am in the south home, I figured out how to change it to the preferred device.

Then I was able to get the Universal Devices re-linked to my GH mini.  DUH!

This also seem to resolve the "Universal Devices not available now" issue as well.
