Portal connects fine - Polyglot fails

I am new to ISY portal/Polyglot but I have been using ISY994i/Insteon/z-wave for a while. This is a single ISY setup..

Portal setup and connectivity works fine including Amazon Alexa integration. Portal sees ISY just fine.

I am now attempting to login to Plyglot at https://polyglot.isy.io/. I get the following exception when retrieving ISYs. ISY nodeserver is configured and shows up fine in the ISY admin console under Node Servers->Configure menu hierarchy.  I must be missing something basic.. Thanks in advance.

No problem. FYI firmware and UI version is at v.5.0.15A. It is in't clear if the request actually made it all the way to the server, but if it necessary to update to the latest RC, please let me know.

Thanks much for fixing this issue. I am now able to retrieve my ISY (although it says unmanaged) . I will continue with my exploration.

Thank you! Those errors have gone away now.

I do still have a minor issue - don’t know if it’s related to a particular poly or not. I had 1.0.2 of the Push poly installed - and it wasn’t working. Stop-start did not upgrade to 1.0.3 and I noticed that 1.0.3 had a fix for installing on PGC. I decided to delete the poly and reinstall it. However, when I went to add custom parameters it’s not taking them - most of the time. If I add one - it does not show up. Sometimes, refreshing the page has it show. Mostly not.

Is this a general issue (can not manage custom config properties) - or is this specific to the Poly?

@MWareman,

This should be fixed. If not, please do let us know.

With kind regards,
Michel

There is still something not quite right...

I get a lot of these this morning:

image.png.affcd190793afe90767c127387bb2284.png

If I go into the node (the 'Push' node in this case) and try to add a parameter, I get this:

image.png.0f359f075b3162f409910935d9817793.png

The new parameter details dissappear from the input box - but never appear under "Custom Configuration Parameters". I've tried this on a couple of different nodes with the same result - so I don't think it's related to the specific node.

So - I still appear to be unable to add custom parameters.

Thanks!

Michael.

The test parameter eventually showed up. Not sure how long it took.

I went to delete it - and the delete logged as 'Successful' - but display of the parameter I just deleted did not change. I hit 'Save' - and got told "Nothing Changed".I refreshed the page - and the deleted parameter still showed up.

Maybe related. The WeatherFlowPGC Poly is throwing this error:

The 'Station' parameter is configured however.
Is there a more general issue with custom parameters?

I've been seeing all kinds of strange errors and issues trying to set custom parameters too.  It's like the front end sends the data to the Polyglot instance, but it never gets saved in the polyglot database.  Sometime refreshing the web page will make a custom parameter show up, sometime not.

I've also been seeing an issue where after installing the node server it shows disconnected with 0 uptime, but I can watch the log and it's obviously running. From the log, I see the node server create its nodes and all appears correct.  But the web view dashboard shows 0 nodes for the node server. In addition, when the node server adds a notice, it's not shown in the web view.  Again, forcing a refresh of the web page will many times make the view correct, I.E. show the nodes and show the notices.  Almost like the front-end web view is getting cached data and not refreshing unless forced.

After leaving it running over night, I can no longer display the real-time log. I'm getting an error "entity too large".

I've had slightly better luck running the node server on pgtest.isy.io so I'm pretty sure most of these issues are with polyglot and not my node server.
