Scyto Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Hi folks, I have one gocontrol that has sat in a box for last few years on my jobs to be done list. i see chamberlain myq is cheap this season (and there is a polyglot nodeserver for it). Anyone have a view which I should proceed with and why? Anyone done a bake off?
lilyoyo1 Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 If you currently have a zwave network, I would use the go control. It's local and for the most part you don't have to worry about updates breaking the system MyQ is nice and works great with the nodeserver. However, it is cloud based. Due to that, I still use a sensor for local time status
Jimbo.Automates Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 I prefer the MIMolite since it has status so it can use a hardwired sensor instead of a separate one. Been working great for me for a long time.Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk
