Teken
Has anyone seen or heard of their Polyisy displaying 3 LED's which continues to blink along with a persistent beeping? Upon waking up today the girl friend said there was a odd beeping coming from the secure room. Entering the room I narrowed it down to the Polyisy which has the condition I listed here. I'll create a service request for the team to diagnose but wanted to know if anyone else has seen the same? I've left my Polisy up and running to insure a proper *Burn In* as best practices but to identify DOA / Infant Mortality. Thanks!
simplextech
I had this happen early on during the initial rollout from an update not updating the secure eprom correctly. Unless you did an update though I'm not sure why it would suddenly just happen.

I ask because that obviously wasn't being done and haven't been working on the box for a few days. The only thing I have done is log in to check the current status of the Node Servers. I don't recall but the system doesn't have a auto update does it? All there is, is a check for update and apply option from what I recall.

I don't think there's any auto update that can be done. I would hope not. Just relaying that I've had similar (the beeping) and what was the cause when it happened with me. I'd open a support ticket. I'll work on that after lunch. Appreciate the feedback as I have lots of projects linked to this shiny blue box!

I was a little sad to see there wasn't any rabbit ears / holes for this unit or some kind of wall mounting tabs?

I sent that suggestion to @Michel Kohanim that they should provide a rack kit for the polisy... maybe if other's are interested it might happen? The problem is the Polyisy isn't exactly 1 U in clearance I don't believe? The unit isn't very heavy so am on the fence in deciding to either use a 1 U shelf vs just a frame mount. I'll probably lean toward a shelf and use it to hold the four other 994 Series Controllers / IoT devices. Haven't made it that far since pulling miles of wire has just sucked the life out of me . . . Yeah I just have mine on a shelf currently. I have the ISY units attached to DIN Rail plates in a DIN Rail enclosure in my rack. Along with a bunch of other controllers. simplextech
Here's a few pics. The rack is a mess currently as I keep moving stuff around and I have some new patch panels in the mail which will help clean it up.
Michel Kohanim
@Teken, Thank you for your time. Everyone else, we are tracking down an issue with mongodb getting corrupted. All I did was: mongodb --dbpath /var/db/mongodb --repair With kind regards, Michel

Your photo of the Ubiquity router / gateway is a perfect example of how the Polisy may in the future be configured in a 1U shelf / mount.

That was my thinking when I asked for a rack mount for polisy.... I just need to get new panels and clean up the cabling
