bmercier
Hello everyone, We will have a maintenance this Sunday 04-12-2020 at 5:00 AM PDT which will last for up to 1 hour. During this period, your ISY will disconnect for a few brief moments. New feature: Hint Editor: Under Connectivity there will be a new option which allows to manually edit the "Hint" of a Nodeserver node. Maintenance: Install OS patches Benoit Link to comment
btreinders
@bmercier Has the maintenance completed? It's noon central and the portal says my ISY is offline and I have rebooted it twice. No joy. Edited April 12, 2020 by btreinders Link to comment
waffles
Just found this thread, as my ISY has gone offline a little while ago (green dot in ISY portal still there, but lost connection to Amazon, Google, etc. @bmercier; I believe the thread title should say 04 (April), not 03 (March), correct? MrBill
I probably should have made the above post in this thread instead. my theory is ISY's that have been restarted can't re-connect to the portal, but if the ISY was already connected before this morning it stayed connected. Link to comment
JSylvia007
So... It's now 1436 EST and I've also noticed that my ISY has dropped offline effectively breaking all of my smart home integrations like Alexa... What's the status on bringing this back up? Silence from the organization on something like this is completely unacceptable. Additionally, simply notifying users via a form post and not an email is additionally unacceptable. Link to comment

So is yours online with ISY portal and working with Alexa? And if so you believe this is because you didn't restart yours? Mine was working before this morning. But I did restart it this morning. For what it's worth, mine was working for a couple weeks without a restart. It dropped off all by itself earlier this afternoon and still isn't back. I've tried rebooting twice. 1 Link to comment

Michel Kohanim
Hello all, Sincere apologies for the interruption in service. One of the proxy servers had to be migrated and thus the reason for this issue affecting only a certain number of folks (those that were connected to this proxy server). Things should go back to normal shortly on their own. If you have not done so, please reboot your ISY; this will cause ISY to connect to the working proxy. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
PurdueGuy
I am on 5..0.16C. Portal shows "ISY online since 12:30:19 PDT" No reboots. Polyclot cloud shows all kinds of errors. Link to comment

With kind regards, Michel Michael, what about those of us who have been rebooting for the last hour? I just rebooted mine a few minutes ago and it still hasn't come back online. When can we expect this problem to "sort itself out"? Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi @PurdueGuy, What errors are you getting in PGC? With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
@JSylvia007, I am so very sorry to hear. I think this is due to DNS propagation delays. Can you please reboot one more time and then send your error log to support@universal-devices.com? With kind regards, Michel Link to comment

PurdueGuy
Also, Alex says "The hub that devices connects to is not responding..." Commands via Alexa (voice) worked about 20 minutes ago. Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
@PurdueGuy, Thanks so very much! Got them all. I see the issue ... I think PGC is now bombarding ISY/ISY Portal. That's why Alexa worked for a few minutes. Looking into it as we speak. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
