Can't Access Alexa Skill

Featured Replies

Alexa told me to re-enable skill this morning. Can't do so. I get the message that This Connection is Not Private. You Should Close This Page. Webbsite's certificate has expired. Certificate issued by Rapid SSL RSA CA has expired. Can I safely override this morning. If not, what must I do next?

Same here.

Hopefully someone at UDI is monitoring this so that they can get the certificate updated...  This is the second issue with them in as many months.

Looks like we probably just need to wait until this gets resolved. I saw the option to override the warning but I don't plan to do that unless I can determine that can be done safely.

I wouldn't accept it.  I would wait until the certificate is updated.

Yea, I will wait for a response as well.  When I went to the Portal website I got the same error about the Certificate being invalid.  I went to it anyway and could not get anything to load in the Alexa Connectivity area.  I closed out and went back in and it now shows my devices and such, but still will not connect with Alexa.

I think it's on Amazon's side, at least mostly. I have a routine NOT tied to ISY (it's ALL Amazon) that is failing, too.

Interesting.  I know for a fact the Universal Devices site certificate is expired so I expected that to be it.  I mostly use the ISY as my main hub.  I also have an LG skill and I just tried it and it worked without issue.

yes, the SSL Cert expired this morning.  Tickets have been submitted.

Same here....

Paging @bmercier?

I thought Alexa was ignoring me, but now I see why.

Me too.  Tracking certificate expiration is a common problem that we have at work all the time.

ALL -

It appears as though the certificate issue has been resolved.  Alexa integrations are working again, and the https://my.isy.io page no longer indicates an expired certificate.

Ok, we are back.....Thanks!

Thanks...good to go here as well.
