I have a string of LED lights I want to dim.

I cant find anything with a 3 prong plug. Only lamp type 2 prong plugs.

Also can't find a receptacle that can dim.

Seems odd I cant find this...

Are you sure they’re dimmable?
Insteon outlets if I’m not mistaken have a dimmable receptacle but it’s labeled and 2 prong I think. There are many good safety reasons why a 3 prong isn’t dimmable since someone could plug in an incompatible load.

The dimmable Insteon outlet section is two prong. It also needs a enable key {Magnet} over the plugged in device AC Plug. To enable the dimmer section to work. So if an incorrect load is connected. The user had to knowingly enable it and take the chances.

There where 3 pin LampLinc Dimmers. The older power line only modules. Came in both 2 and 3 pin versions. 2456D2 2 Pin and 2456D3 3 pin. They where in the same type case as the 2413S PLM and had a pass through outlet on the front.
