Is there a way to list all zwave devices and see their ID?

I'm continually frustrated by the fact that if you look at something in the event viewer that it says the device is zw_004 or similar, but the only way to figure out what that is is to click on each and every device to see.

Does anyone know a way to see a list of the zwave devices and see what their ID is?

Zwave devices do not have device IDs like insteon. They are sequentially numbered as you add them to your controller

I think that is the device ID the OP is looking for.

I guess I should have explained a bit more.  Here are some examples:

Right now I'm messing with the beta firmware versions and even though I keep turning freeze nodes on it somehow keeps getting turned off and I get more and more ghost nodes.  So for example today I open the AC to find a new node that says ZW 038 Home Security Alarm. So all of my devices have names that say what and where they are...I don't leave the zw038 in the name.  So I'm looking for a way to be able to quickly tell what zw038 is.

Example 2:

I'm looking in the event viewer and see something that catches my interest and I want to track it down a bit further...so it says zw042, but I don't know what that is.

This is what I'm trying to find in the UI, but it doesn't seem that it exists.

I'll continue to the use the method mapeter mentioned above.  Perhaps when I get really bored this winter I can make a spreadsheet so I can cross reference the zw### to name.

Thanks for the replies.

I leave the numbers in for that reason. I'd recommend the same as it'll make things easier by cutting down the interfaces you have to use when issues arise

Okay to answer my own question...after working in the AC I noticed that if you click on the folder named "Network" that it will list all of your devices and in this display is a column named Address which will give the info I was looking for.  You can also click on the top to sort. So if I am looking for a zwave device ID I can click the address column to sort and them scroll down and they are listed in order. Same for insteon and node servers.

That's exactly the solution that was posted in the first reply by @Mecheng70 to your original post.

Well I didn't understand what he meant there.

I had no idea that the name of my ISY is "Network".  I had no idea you could name the ISY for that matter.

Either way it does work. You just have to understand where it is!

Thanks to all for the replies.
