Questions about WiFi, Z-Wave with Polisy Pro

I just setup my Polisy Pro. and my first question is about the Polisy Pro's WiFi. Do I need to setup the Polisy's WiFi since I already have WiFi in the house? Won't my ISY be able to communicate with any WiFi device through the existing network?

My second question is about Z-Wave. My ISY (ISY994I ZW + Pro) has a Z-Wave module and so does my Polisy. I already have a few Z-Wave devices on the network with my ISY. Now that I have setup the Polisy do new Z-Wave devices work through it versus the older devices through the ISY? Do I need to somehow turn off the Z-Wave of the ISY and use the one in the Polisy?

Sorry for the newb questions. I've been using my ISY for a couple of years, but the Polisy and Z-Wave devices are new and I'm just curious how it all works together.

Thanks

Polisy is not a router. You use the wifi to connect it (the Polisy) to your network if it is not easy to use an ethernet cable

Polisy does not connect to Zwave devices directly (yet...).  Right now the use of the Polisy is for nodeservers, connecting a variety of products and services. While the plan seems to be that, in the future, the Polisy replaces the ISY, right now they work in tandem.

You can treat the Polisy as a better way of doing Polyglot's for now. Later it will do much more but for now you don't need to change much other than porting your Polyglots over to if if you were using a Raspberry pi. Since you are a newbie I think you probably don't have any of those and may not even know what I'm talking about. Just enjoy having the Polisy for now. The true value will be unlocked later.

The ISY can integrate communicate with insteon, z-wave, x-10, and/or zigbee devices.

I would describe the polisy as a device that expands the capability of the ISY to communicate with additional devices in such a way that those additional devices can be treated as just-another-device, including inclusion into scenes and programs.

The polisy has wifi, just as does your tablets, computers, cell phones, TV, streaming devices, and it saves the same purpose as it does on those household electronics.  As near as I can tell, there is no direct communication between the ISY and the Polisy.  They communicate with each other via your home network.
