Alexa doesn't 'support that'

Featured Replies

I've had this issue for a while now.

Under Spoken Word I have a SWL called 'Library'

When I tell Alexa to turn it on she says 'Library Doesn't Support That"

I have it in the Portal as a light.

Not sure why it never lets me use that word.

I had to make an alternate spoken 'book room' but I'd prefer Library

Is there something I'm overlooking?

Just checking to see if anyone had any ideas?

I've tried deleting the SWL from the Portal and re-adding it.

I have noticed the Alexa website (where I refresh and it populates the ISY stuff)

calls some of my lights Amazon Smart Devices.

Does this have something to do with the issue?

I've tried deleting the 'amazon smart device' leaving just the library which is labeled ISY and the numbered address.

It still doesn't seem to work properly

Success.

I had a Group in the Alexa website (I'm not sure what to call the page) called Library.

I deleted it and now I can call the SWL Library and it behaves as it should.

Just leaving my findings here to help someone else if they have the same issue
